SELF-FAITH Foundation     SELF-FAITH Foundation is a Bulgarian NGO, created to assist socially disadvantaged people, who aspire to achieve professional realization and success in life. Our desire is to inspire the unemployed to have faith in their own strength, to restore the faith of the victims of discrimination and violence and to support the faith in achieving equality and financial independence of women in unequal social status.     AIMS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE FOUNDATION   Supporting the realization of basic human rights of socially disadvantaged individuals by establishing and maintaining contacts with them. Creating conditions for the unemployed to discuss openly their problems and not to self-isolate themselves by holding individual career counseling and courses for vocational guidance. Organizing and participating in projects and activities designated to assist and restore the self-faith of socially disadvantaged people. Networking with NGO's with similar aims and goals.   WE BELIEVE THAT WE ARE NEEDED   Each fifth bulgarian person of working age is unemployed. One third of the unemployed in the country are young people. Two thirds of the job seekers are women and usually they are discriminated and underestimated on the job market.   WE INSPIRE THE UNEMPLOYED TO BELIEVE THAT   The labour force is the most valuable resource on the job market. Each person is unique with his talents, gifts, skills and experience and has the right of proper social status. The unemployment is not a fatal destiny of the individual, although it is an inevitable social-economic phenomenon.
